Flowers and palm tree prints – what a summery summer

Summer is colourful and this year in a very playful way.

You see flower prints everywhere, aside from palm leaves and fruit prints, especially watermelon and pineapple.

Here are my favourite styles:

Flower Prints

Bershka Blue Floral Ruffle Dress

This dress is summer pure – all 2017 trends combined – asymmetric, floral print, ruffles and a split to show some leg. (never mind my face LOL, maybe I should wear sunglasses when trying to look into the setting sun)

I found it at Bershka, where I always check out the latest items because from time to time they have really good stuff. This Croatian summer is the perfect setting for my Summer dress. But of course you can also wear it in the city.

green floral print pants

What I love about these high-waist black-and-green floral pants is that they are so long I can only wear them with heels. Another beautiful find at Zara this summer. They are elegant, yet very summery.

yellow flower print

This yellow flower print off-the-shoulder top is a real travel asset. It doesn’t crinkle in your suitcase or backpack and is such a good mood and versatile item.

red floral striped dress

Another dress in this flower series: ruffles and flowers in the trend colour red. Yesss, I’m such a Zara girl.
This time a short version because it’s hot out there and you can also show some leg.

Mumu floral top

This floral crop top is from Mumu in Venice Beach, L.A. A really cool store on a really cool street (Abbot Kinney Boulevard). Can’t wait to go back!

Off-the-shoulder and falling loosely, it’s a perfect match with high waist shorts or skirts.

Palm Leaves Prints

high-waist shorts

These high-waist palm leaves print shorts from h&m are so good for travelling as they are light and so comfy to wear. Perfect for the beach or your Summer City Adventures. Combine them with ruffles or off-the-shoulder tops. You can either wear crop tops to bring out the high waistline or tuck in your blouse for the trouser waistband to appear.

tropical print dress

Palm-leaves and off-the shoulder – yes, I immediately fell in love with this summerly dress I found in L.A. Ruffles and short front, long back round up the look. A flowery straw hat to protect you from the heat, and you’re good to go. This hat is picking up on the flower/ leaves theme, so I found it a perfect match for my dress.
